Want to give something back to the community? Ready, willing and able to commit yourself for six months or more?
Hassle Free Clinic might be right for you. Volunteers help enormously in keeping the clinic running smoothly. Duties are mostly administrative (filing and retrieving patient charts, booking appointments, answering the phone) and assisting our clients in the reception area.
Training is provided by the staff and other volunteers.
The Men & Trans Clinic accepts volunteer applications on an ongoing basis. Volunteers are asked to commit to at least one clinic shift (approx. 5 - 6 hrs.) one day a week for a minimum of at least six months.
Monday & Wednesday 3:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday & Thursday 9:30 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
Friday 3:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Saturdays 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
The Women & Trans Clinic accepts volunteer applications on an ongoing basis; however, please note you will only be contacted if there are positions available. Volunteers are asked to commit to one 3-hour shift per week for minimum of one year during the following hours:
Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Tuesday & Thursday: 4p.m. – 8p.m.
Volunteers must:
· Sign a Confidentiality Agreement
· Wear a face mask during clinic shifts and provide proof of COVID vaccinations
· Be able to work in a very busy environment
· Adhere to an anti-oppressive framework and Hassle Free Clinic’s core values
· Have a non-judgmental attitude towards sexual health-related concerns
· Fluency in another language (especially Spanish) is an asset
